What Are the Benefits of Cloud Migration Service?

The primary benefits of cloud migration are the scalability and flexibility of cloud resources provided by the cloud provider.

Simple Scalability

Resources in the cloud are simple to scale up or down; they can be used seasonally, depending on the current needs.

Cost-effectiveness

Cloud is very cost-effective. By some research, 88% of the companies cut their IT infrastructure costs by migrating to the cloud.

Flexibility

Cloud is very flexible in terms of available resources. Cloud providers, such as AWS, offer a large number of tools and services.

Automation

Automation is an integral part of Cloud Migration. Tasks such as backups, DRs, infrastructure provisioning are automated.

Security

Cloud providers such as AWS offer superior security controls that help you fine-grain your security mechanisms and permissions.

Availability

Cloud technology enables companies to design highly available services, distributed across multiple availability zones.

What Are the Cloud Migration Phases?

Assess

Assess

In the Assess phase, we evaluate your existing IT environment to understand the scope, readiness, and potential challenges of the migration. This involves thoroughly analyzing your current infrastructure, applications, and dependencies. We identify workloads suitable for migration, estimate costs, and develop a business case to justify the investment.

Mobilize

Mobilize

In the Mobilize phase, we focus on preparing your organization for the migration. We create a cloud operating model and establish governance frameworks. This phase includes pilot migrations to validate processes and refine strategies. The goal is to ensure that your team and infrastructure are fully prepared for a smooth and efficient migration to AWS.

Migrate & Modernize

Migrate & Modernize

In the Migrate & Modernize phase, we execute the migration plan and move your workloads to the cloud. This phase includes the actual migration of applications, data, and infrastructure while ensuring minimal disruption. We employ automated tools and best practices to optimize the migration process. Additionally, we modernize applications where necessary to leverage the full benefits of AWS.

Free Cloud Migration Assessment

In line with our 2024 strategic focus on cloud migration projects, we’re excited to offer Cloud Migration Assessment at no cost to all customers for the entire 2024.

03. Data Collection

Data Collection is a process of collecting data about your current IT environment to identify critical assets, applications and systems for migration.

04. Data Analysis

04. Data Analysis

Data Analysis is a process of analyzing data gathered in the data collection stage to get a clear understanding of your current environment and assets.

05. Assess Report

05. Assess Report

Assess Report is a process of building documentation that highlights the financial and operational benefits of migrating to the cloud.

What Are the Project Deliverables?

The project has three important deliverables that provide all the necessary information to make an informed decision about the next steps

Migration Readiness Report

Migration Readiness Report

This document outlines your organization’s readiness for cloud migration, detailing your strengths, weaknesses and areas needing improvement before the move.

Assess Report

Assess Report

This document has three major components: assessment analysis, TCO analysis, and a directional business case.

The assessment analysis examines the state of the current infrastructure and all the costs, complexities, and challenges involved. TCO analysis covers the costs of the new AWS environment. The directional business case presents new cloud architecture, possible migration strategies, and detailed TCO with all costs involved (migration costs, operating costs, education costs, etc.).

Assess Report

Assess Report Presentation

Assess report presentation is a summary of the Assess Report document. It is created for project stakeholders to get a high-level overview of the outcomes and key points to decide on the next steps.
