Head Accountant

Job Description

As our company’s Head accountant, your job will be to ensure implementation of activities in the field of bookkeeping, accounting and related tasks to ensure internal and external communication and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities include:

• Compliance with legal regulations and internal acts of the company related to accounting standards;
• Execution of all administrative activities necessary for quality implementation and documentation of collected data;
• Advising and supporting employees on accounting standards and related topics;
• Preparation of statistical and tax reports as well as reports for the institutions of the Republic of Croatia; and
• Ensuring the accuracy of the data in the company's ERP system required for the preparation of related reports.

Requirements

Requirements for Head Accountant include:

• Economics degree;
• Minimum of 3 years of corresponding experience;
• Independence in the preparation of financial statements, income tax and VAT reports;
• Knowledge of accounting and corresponding legal framework;
• Active knowledge of English language;
• Precision and analytical skills, proactivity;
• Advanced computer skills: MS Office and ERP programs; and
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (advantage).
